Eligibility Criteria

If you are a student who is currently residing in the Gaza Strip, we have implemented special measures to accommodate your situation and to ensure a safe and  easy application process. If you are able to access the application, please fill it as best as you could. We are looking for motivated and passionate young individuals who are eager to contribute to a diverse and dynamic learning environment.

To apply through our UWC national committee, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Age requirement

Applicants must be between 16 and 18 years old as of September 1, 2026 (born between September 1, 2008, and September 1, 2010) . This typically aligns with students entering the final two years of secondary education, but specific age requirements may vary by UWC school or college.

2. Educational background

Applicants must have a minimum 90% grade average or equivalent from the previous year (9th or 10th grade). Those with lower grades may apply with an attached letter explaining the reasons for not meeting this requirement, their motivation for attending UWC, and their plan for achieving academic success at UWC.

Applicants from public, private, and UNRWA schools in the West Bank, including Occupied Jerusalem and Gaza, are eligible to apply.

4. Personal qualities and values

5. Language requirements

UWC schools and colleges primarily use English as the language of instruction. While fluency is not required at the time of application, applicants are advised to attain a basic proficiency in English and demonstrate a willingness to improve their language skills.
